Notice and Disclaimer
The Alzheimer Society of Canada strives to provide unbiased, accurate, timely and up-to-date information on this site. All information has been prepared in consultation with leading Canadian Alzheimer physicians, health-care professionals and researchers. Much of the Alzheimer care information has been developed with input from caregivers and people with Alzheimer's disease across Canada, with the help of many local and provincial Alzheimer Societies.
In the Treatment section, we provide information on Alzheimer medications currently available in Canada. We also include information on any drugs that are being tested, along with an overview of Health Canada's drug approval process. All drug information presented on this site has been reviewed by the Health Protection Branch of Health Canada. While we provide information on specific drugs, this is for your information only and does not represent an endorsement of any drugs by the Alzheimer Society of Canada.

If you have any questions about your individual medical situation, please contact your doctor or other qualified health-care provider.
